Day 01 – Wednesday

ARRIVE AT AUCKLAND

22:25 hrs Arrive at Auckland. After completing the immigration formalities and collecting baggage, we meet our friendly driver who will drive us to Hotel Auckland City Hotel. On arrival, we check-in and stay overnight.

Day 02 – Thursday

AUCKLAND – KELLY TARLTON TOWERS, ANTARCTIC ENOCOUNTER & MORE

Today after breakfast, we proceed on an exciting city tour Auckland. We will visit Mt Eden, Harbour Bridge, Waterfront, Mission Bay, Tamaki Drive, Savage Points, Parnell Rose Park and Village, Domain Parks and Gardens, City Centre and Victoria Park. We also visit the Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World and the Antarctic Encounter after which we enjoy a 40 minutes cruise from downtown Auckland to Waiheke Island on Fullers where we enjoy a 90 minutes guided bus tour of Waiheke Island.

Day 03 – Friday

AUCKLAND – WAITOMO GLOW WORM CAVES – ROTORUA

This morning after breakfast, we checkout and proceed to the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves. This drive of approximately 2.5 hours will bring us to see hundreds of two-winged insects that glow in the dark as long as a matchstick. A glow worm uses its glow to attract food and to burn off its waste. Glowworms can survive only in very damp, dark places where their light can be seen. The Waitomo Glow worm caves provide a perfect environment with an abundance of insects brought into the cave via the river. After seeing this natural beauty, we drive to Rotorua – New Zealand’s Best City 6 times, which is approximately a 2 hours drive. After arrival, we stay this night at Sudima Lake Hotel.

Day 04 – Saturday

ROTORUA TE PUIA THERMAL RESERVE, AGRODOME SHEEP SHOW & MORE

This morning after breakfast at our hotel, we proceed on a city tour of Rotorua.
From the moment we enter Rotorua we know we are somewhere quite different. Renowned as the heartland of Maori culture Rotorua is an international tourism icon. There are many lakes in the vicinity of Rotorua, all formed from the craters of extinct volcanoes. As we go on the sightseeing, we visit Red Forests, Rotorua Lake, Government Gardens and more. We then proceed to Paradise Valley Springs & Te Puia-Thermal Reserve where we can see the natural splendors of bubbling mud pools and spectacular hot water geysers from the ground. We later visit the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. The Maori people made Rotorua their home 500 years ago and were New Zealand's original tour guides. After we experience the maori culture first hand, we proceed to see the world famous Agrodome Sheet Show - an award winning live sheep show which includes a display of New Zealand’s 19 most popular sheep breeds, working sheep dogs, sheep shearing and cow milking demonstration. After this interesting show, we take the Skyline Gondola Ride that will leave you spell bound. Overnight at Sudima Lake Hotel.

Day 05 – Saturday

ROTORUA QUEENSTOWN

This morning after breakfast, we check-out and proceed to Rotorua Airport to board our flight to Queenstown. After arrival at Queenstown, we meet our friendly driver and then proceed to Copthorne Hotel & Resorts and check-in for overnight stay.

DAY 06 – Monday

QUEENSTOWN – MILFORD SOUND

This morning after breakfast at hotel, we proceed to experience the scenic and stunning Milford Sound Cruise. Milford is at a driving distance of about 3.5 hours from Queenstown. Milford Sound has been judged the world's top travel destination in an international survey (2008 Travelers' Choice Destinations Awards) and is acclaimed as New Zealand's most famous tourist destination. This cruise in the ocean that is hidden by mountains will leave a lifelong impressions on you. After the cruise we later drive back to Queenstown for overnight stay.

DAY 07 – Tuesday

QUEENSTOWN – KAWARAU JETBOATING, ARROW TOWN & MORE

Today after breakfast, we proceed on a guided tour of Queenstown. Queenstown is renowned for  incredible adventure activities and spectacular outdoor terrain. We will see all forms of adventure activities from skiing, snowboarding, bungee jumping, paragliding, jetboating, sky diving and more! Adventurers, filmmakers, wine enthusiasts, Hollywood stars and US Presidents have all been drawn to Queenstown’s magical region and its intense alpine energy. We also experience the 30 mins Kawarau Jetboating experience and get a taste of adventure.
Later we proceed on TSS Earnslaw Cruise to Walter Peak Farm, which is on the western shores of beautiful Lake Wakatipu. This provides us with an opportunity to relax and experience New Zealand’s country life. Upon arrival at Walter Peak we join the walking tour of the farmyard.  We will see traditional farming practices and the significance of various animals. We can help feed the sheep and get close to the deer and Scottish Highland cattle. We then stroll through the lakeside gardens to the charming Colonel’s Homestead for a traditional tea. We then re-board the vessel & enjoy a sing-a-song with pianist as we come back to Queenstown.

Day 08 – Wednesday

QUEENSTOWN – MTCOOK

Today after breakfast, we check-out and drive to Mt. Cook. We drive about 3.5 hours through scenic nature to arrive into Mt. Cook. Mount Cook is New Zealand's highest mountain at 3,754 metres above sea level, towers over the expansive countryside. The region is renowned for its incredibly clear starry nights, brilliant sunny days, remarkable turquoise blue lakes, valleys of emerald green and snow-capped mountains. As we arrive into Mt. Cook, we proceed to Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre situate within The Hermitage Hotel where we experience the 3D Planetarium show. The Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre's 126-seat custom-designed theatre is the world's only theatre with 2D, 3D and world-class definiti® Digital Dome Planetarium, contained within the same space. A tribute to Sir Edmund Hillary, humanitarian, ambassador and one of the world's greatest explorers, the centre showcases the Aoraki Mount Cook region, its people and its place in the universe. This day we will also be given a chance to take a Scenic Flight around Mt. Cook (optional tour – additional payment necessary). This night we stay at Mackenzie Country Inn.

DAY 09 – Thursday

MTCOOK – CHRISTCHURCH

This morning we check-out after breakfast. We again will be given a chance to take a Scenic Flight around Mt. Cook (optional tour – additional payment necessary) after which we will drive to Christchurch which is a 4.5 hour drive. Christchurch is New Zealand’s second largest city. As we arrive into Christchurch, we take a guided tour of Christchurch when we visit Cathedral Square, Avon River, Botanical Gardens, City Centre, Bridge of Remembrance, Town Hall, Christ's College, Mona Vale and Cashmere Hills. The highlight of the tour is the Antarctic Centre with Penguin Encounter. The Penguin Encounter is New Zealand’s first combined indoor/outdoor penguin viewing area with capacity to hold up to 26 Little Blue penguins which are found only in the Antarctic region. The penguins held here are birds that have been rescued and cared for, some since they were chicks. We later proceed to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve that gives us a holistic New Zealand wildlife experience. We get the opportunity to experience New Zealand's endangered wildlife in a natural setting.  This night we stay at Sudima Hotel Christchurch Airport.

DAY 10 – Friday

CHRISTCHURCH – INDIA

Today after breakfast, it is time to say bye to the world’s youngest country. We check-out and transfer to airport to board Singapore Airlines SQ298 departing at 10:50 hrs to Singapore and arriving at 17:40 hrs at Singapore. We board the connecting flight Singapore Airlines SQ502 departing at 20:05 hrs from Singapore and arriving at 21:50 hrs at Bangalore.

Terms & Conditions

All our products are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions and the contract between the Client and us shall be governed by the same.

1. BROCHURE ACCURACY
Brochures are printed several months in advance and the brochures' description of services are printed as accurate as possible during the time of its publication. However, we do not have direct control over the suppliers as we are Tour Operators and do not own any hotels, airlines, restaurants, cruises or coaches. Circumstances beyond our control like major road works, traffic congestions, weather conditions, fairs, festivals, sport events, political/religious gatherings, strikes, change of management/closure of hotels/restaurants, over booking of hotels/flights, cancellation/ re-routing of flights or railway, closure of / restricted entry at a place of sight seeing and any other circumstances not mentioned herewith may result in changes in the services / itineraries. Therefore, we reserve the absolute right to alter, amend, change or modify the Tour Package, Itineraries, tour Schedule, travel plan, tour arrangements and sightseeing. Where we may know of these sufficiently in advance we will notify the client, otherwise our Tour Managers or local representative/s will inform you of the changes on the spot. There are also very big Fairs and Exhibitions lasting up to 2 weeks, where all the hotels are fully booked several years ahead. Every effort is made to avoid such dates, but in the few instances where it is unavoidable, it may be necessary to stay in hotels in other cities. (This would be advised as advance as possible).

2. THE BOOKING
Your contract is with Chariot World Tours Limited. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed that we have space available on the tour of your choice and we have received your signed Travel Confirmation Form and advance.

3. DEPOSIT
Upon completion of the signed booking form 30% of the tour cost, must be paid to the company.

4. PAYMENT
Payments should be made in the name of Chariot World Tours Limited by cheque or DD preferably. Payment by DD can be drawn at our cost. In unavoidable circumstances, cash payments are accepted. We also accept credit cards. There will be a surcharge of 2% on card payments which will be added to the total invoice cost. For bookings which are made within 10 working days of tour departure, the full amount will become immediately payable either by DD, CASH OR CREDIT CARD ONLY.

5. BALANCE
Once the completed Travel Confirmation Form and the advance have been received an invoice will be sent, along with a receipt for the money already paid. The full payment towards the cost of the tour must be paid at least 20 days prior to tour departure. Failure to pay the balance within the specified period will result in the cancellation of the booking, and the payment of a cancellation fee, as detailed below.

6. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY
If you or any member of your party wishes to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing only. In any case, the date of cancellation will be at the date on which notice is received by us. The person who signed the confirmation form must also sign the letter of cancellation. As this incurs administrative costs and we may not be able to resell your booking, cancellation charges will apply on the following scale:

In all cases the above cancellation fees, will be applicable in INR.
Force Majeure: This means that we will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These can include and are not limited to war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity and its consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions and many more.

7. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING
If, after your confirmation, invoice has been issued and you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, for example your chosen departure date, names of passengers or accommodation, we will do our utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes to be made must be in writing from the person who made the booking. You may also be asked to pay an administration charge of per person per change and any further costs we incur in making this alteration. You should be aware that these costs could increase the closer to the departure date that changes are made and you should contact us as soon as possible.

8. SCOPE OF ACTIVITY
We are travel and holiday organisers only. We do not control or operate any airline, neither do we own or control any shipping company, coach or coach company, hotel, transport, restaurant, kitchen caravan or any other facility or service mentioned in this Brochure. Though we take care in selecting all the ingredients in your holiday, we can only select and inspect them. As we have no control in running of them, we cannot be responsible for any delay, improper services provided by any agency, airline, transport, hotel, any provider of services, for any injury, death, loss or damage which is caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any hotel, airlines, shipping companies, cruise, coach owners/coach operators/tour operators who are the Company's independent contractors. We are also not responsible for the delay or deficiency in services provided by agency, airline, transport, hotel, any provider of services, and/or any act or actions of co-travelers, co-passengers which may result in injury, damage to the life or property of the Client or interfere with enjoying or availing the following and /or the other services to be provided on the tour.
We do take all reasonable steps in ensuring that the organisation, maintains standards and provide a service that is acceptable to the company. The information within this brochure has been compiled with all reasonable care and is correct to the best knowledge of the company and is published in good faith.

9. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND CLEARANCES
It shall be sole responsibility of the Clients to hold valid travel documents and statutory clearances, to enable you to travel on the Tour such as passports, insurance and medical insurance certificates and other statutory certificates including immigration clearance. In any case, your Passport must be valid for at least six months subsequent to the scheduled departure date of the tour.

As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign governments, the Operator shall neither be responsible in case of non-granting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act/omission or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting there from. The position in respect of cancellation of Tour by Client due to non-availability of travel documents would not change only by virtue of the Client having applied for such documents through us. Even if visas are rejected, our stipulated fees shall be payable by the Client. There will be no refund to the Client, or any member of his party, is unable to travel due to the said reasons. In such cases, the non-refundable deposit paid by the clients shall be forfeited and no claim whatsoever shall be made for the same.

In the event that a client is unable to travel on the tour originally booked by him/her, due to rejection of visas by the concerned embassy, the said client shall have the option to postpone his/her tour to any other future date or transfer his tour to any other tour and in such case the transfer fee for the transfer of the tour shall apply. However, if the client books and pays within the cancellation period and is unable to travel due to any reason whatsoever including non-availability of visas or any travel documents, the cancellation policy will apply.

10. HEALTH AND INSURANCE
It shall be the duty of the Client to inform the Company in case the Client has any medical condition that may affect his ability to enjoy and pursue fully the Tour Arrangements and wherein the interest of the Group or any member thereof is prejudicially affected.

  1. The Company reserves the right to ask the Client to provide written certification of his medical fitness before departure. In the event that a medical condition has not been disclosed the Company will not be liable to provide any assistance or money back.
  2. The Company makes it a condition that the Client is adequately covered by Overseas Mediclaim Insurance Policy and other appropriate insurance policies from the Insurance Company identified and named by us to cover the risk of life, limb and property while on tour, as Chariot World Tours Limited will not be responsible for the same.
  3. It may be noted that the tour cost may or may not include the insurance premium and that the clients shall have to acquire the same at their cost.

LIABILITY
In the event of the Company exercising its rights to amend or alter any Tour or holiday advertised in their Brochure/ itinerary after such Tour or Holiday has been booked, the Client shall have the right:

  1. To continue with the Tour or holiday as amended or altered;
  2. Or to accept any alternative Tour or holiday, which the company may offer. In either of these above cases the Client shall not be entitled to or the company shall not be liable to the client for any damage, additional expenses, consequential loss suffered by him or to pay any amount as refund. In the event that the Company is unable to conduct a particular Tour, the Company shall at its own discretion, refund the amount of the cost of the said Tour to the Client (after deducting the actual expenses incurred by us on your booking like visa, insurance premium, POE charges, and other overheads as applicable from case to case) without any interest on the same. The Client will not be entitled to make any grievance thereafter in respect of the same.

The Company shall, in no circumstances whatsoever is liable to the client or any person traveling with him for

  1. Any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and/or damage or any kind of theft howsoever caused;
  2. Any act, omission, default of any independent Contractor or other person or by any servant or agent employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for the client or for any person traveling with him howsoever caused.
  3. The temporary or permanent loss of or damage to baggage or personal effects howsoever caused including willful negligence on the part of any person.
  4. Loss of baggage by the airlines / coach / cruise / train.
  5. Overbooking of seats by the airline.
  6. Failure on the part of airline to accommodate passengers despite having confirmed tickets or change of route.
  7. If in the event that the Client is booked on a particular airline and the said flight is over booked/cancelled for whatever reason and the Client is not allowed/able to board the flight, the Client shall not hold the company responsible for the same and no claim whatsoever can be made by the Client against the company for refund or compensation.

The Company shall not be responsible and / or liable for any damages caused to the Client due to reasons beyond the control of the Company (Force Majeure / Vis Majeure).

In any case, no liability on the part of the Company arising in any way out of this contract in respect of any tour, holiday, excursion facility shall exceed the total amount paid for the tour holiday, and shall in no case include any consequential loss or additional expense whatsoever

11. CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
The Client will have to strictly follow the Tour Program and return to India as per the validity of the air ticket. There shall be no refund, if the client fails to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or joins the group later or leaves the group before culmination of the tour. It shall be noted that for all purposes, it shall be the responsibility of the Client to reach the place of commencement of the Tour and register with the representative of the company at the appointed place, date and time. In case if a client along with his family is compelled to discontinue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of passport or any travel documents, no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services. Even if a client is unable to reach the place of commencement of the tour due to any reason whatsoever including loss of baggage or loss of travel documents, his booking shall be treated as "no show" on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied. If a client avails pre - tour services or part thereof, or the air tickets (cost of which is included in the main tour cost) but fails to join the group for the main tour at the appointed place, or cancels the tour after using the air tickets; tour arrangements or part thereof, it shall be treated as "no show" and there will be no refund whatsoever for the unutilized pre-tour or main tour services.

Chariot World Tours Limited, reserves the right to withdraw tour membership from anyone whose behavior is deemed likely to affect the smooth operation of the tour or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers and Chariot World Tours Limited, shall be under no liability to any such person. It is hereby declared that the immunities provided under this contract shall be available to the Company's Managers, including Tour Managers, Employees, Servants and Agents but not to the Independent Contractors selected by the Company.

Each of these conditions shall be severable from the other and if any provision be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall nevertheless have full force and effect. No liability on the part of the Company arising in any way out of the Contract in respect of any tour, holiday, excursion facilities shall exceed the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the tour holiday, and shall in no case include any consequential loss or additional expense whatsoever.

If no suit/action is brought against the Company within three months of the last day of the Tour, the Company shall be discharged from all liabilities under/or arising out of this Contract and the Client shall be deemed to have relinquished/abandoned all his rights under or arising from this Contract.

If you book with a travel agent and your booking with that agent includes, but is not limited to Chariot World Tours Limited arrangements, your contract is with your travel agent and Chariot World Tours Limited is simply a supplier to your travel agent.

In case of publication of any travel scheme offering any discount or benefit by the Company, it shall have the sole right to withdraw such a scheme or discount at any time unless a specific assurance of the contrary is published.

12. LAW & JURISDICTION
For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products by Chariot World Tours Limited and third party products and tours the courts, tribunals in Bangalore, India alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction. All tours are subject to laws, rules of RBI/GOI.
