Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located atPinnawala village, 13 km northwest of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2011, there were 88 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala.The orphanage was originally founded in order to afford care and protection to many of the orphaned unweaned wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation

The Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya covers approximately 147 acres and attracts over 2 million visitors annually. It is home to over 4,000 species of plants including some of the most beautiful orchids you¿ll ever see. The origins of these magnificent gardens date back to the time of King Wickramabahu the 3rd in 1371. Besides the plethora of plants, the famous Avenue of Palms and the Cannonball Tree planted by King George the 5th of the United Kingdom are key highlights.
Visit a tea plantation where the best tea in the world is produced. Upon your visit you will observe how the quality of tea is graded and also have a walk-through of the manufacturing process.
Visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple
According to the ancient stories, Ramboda is a area, where the forces of Rama's gather to fight against King Ravana. This temple was built by the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka and dedicated to Hanuman. This temple houses for 16 feel height statue of Hanuman.

Visit Sita Amman Temple
The Seetha Amman Temple Trust decided some two years ago to build a Sita temple at a spot believed to be the exact place where Sita was held captive by the demon-king Ravana in the Lanka of the epic, Ramayana. Myth has it that Sita, the wife of King Rama , was imprisoned in the Ashoka forests of the region. The temple trustees believe that this is no myth and that Sita's imprisonment at this spot is a historical fact.

Visit to Turtle Hatchery
Kosgoda is a small village located in the west coast of Sri Lanka. It is most popular for its sea turtle hatcheries, operated by the Wildlife Protection Society of Sri Lanka. Here you will feast your eyes upon the amazing site of many species of turtles, especially the endangered hawksbill, laying their eggs along the beaches. The many hatcheries that are operated locally provide a safe haven for these sea turtles. You may visit these hatcheries to have a look at many huge tanks filled with new born turtles who, once grown, are released to the sea.
Transfer from Kosgoda to Balapitiya

Indian Cuisine at Srilankan Restaurants: - Except Colombo there are no Indian restaurants in Srilanka, Lunch would be provided at local restaurants, Dinners would be provided at the same hotels of stay.

Road conditions and driving speed:-In Sri Lanka since the roads are narrow, especially to mention about Hill Station (Kandy) in curve and narrow roads you cannot exceed 40 Kms speed limits in each places. By Law we cannot excess the mentioned sped limit in each place.
