DAY-WISE ITINERARY:

 

Day 01  

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Arrival Day

On arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you are met by our English-Speaking guide and transferred to Restaurant for Lunch.
After lunch, transfer to hotel for check-in to Hotel Prince D Angkor or similar for 3 nights

In the afternoon, continue to visit to the impressive Ta Prohm temple, where the famous film Tomb Raider was shot and brought the Angkor Wonders to the world. Continue to visit to the temples of Pre-Rup, traditionally believed to be a funerary temple, but in fact the state temple of Rajendravarman II. Mebon, architecturally and artistically superior temple-mountain beautifully carved false doors on upper level, as well as an excellent view of the surrounding countryside. Neak Pean, means ‘coiled serpents’, from the encoiled nagas that encircled the temple. The temple is faced by a statue of the horse, Balaha, saving drowning sailors. Preah Khan means 'sacred sword'. In harmony with Ta Prohm, which was dedicated to Jayavarman VII's mother, Preah Khan is dedicated to his father.

Day 02

Angkor Temple

In the morning, we will explore to the kingdom of Angkor by visiting the last capital of Angkorian Empire, Angkor Thom via the South Gate, the giant stone faces city temple of Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, the Elephant Terrace and the Lepper King Terrace.

We visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex cover 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five tower symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond

Day 03

Banteay Srei & Banteay Samre Temple

We visit Banteay Srei Temple. It is built largely of red sandstone, which is covered with elaborate and deeply carved decoration. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a "precious gem", or the "jewel of Khmer art". After that we continue to visit Banteay Samre Temple, this monument takes its name from the Samre people, is found to the east of the earth embankment forming the eastern wall of the East Baray.

In the afternoon, visit to Pour Krom Village, walking through this lovely local village to experience how local people live, visit to a morning local market before transferring to Chong Knies village to enjoy a boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake.

Continue to visit to Angkor National Museum.

Day 04

Fly to Singapore
